Ibutamoren (Ibutamorol, Nutrobal, Ibutamorol, laboratory cipher MK-677, MK-0677 or L-163,191) is a powerful, non-peptide agonist of long-acting ghrelin receptors, stimulating the secretion of growth hormone. Today it is one of the most powerful stimulators of the production of natural growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1).

How MK-677 works

MK-677 affects several areas of the brain that are responsible for metabolic interaction. It does this in 4 ways:

reduces the level of somatostatin (somatostatin is a peptide hormone that suppresses the secretion of growth hormone),
